Dear journal,
My mom woke me up this morning telling me that our family are going on a trip around Ohio! We all piled into the car. We are going to start by going to Akron. When we got there, we checked into our hotel, the Quaker Inn. It was AWESOME to call an empty grain silo our room and I loved the pool! Here is a picture:

After we got settled, we went to the Hale Farm And Village.
It was so cool to walk in a place built in the 19th century and I loved the wildflowers. A place that old and fun needs a "WOO-HOO"!!! Later, we ate lunch and went to the Akron Zoo. I liked the tigers and lions but all my brother, Connor wanted to do was watch the elephants go to the bathroom, "P.U."! Mom got bored of watching animals so we went to the Stan Hywet Hall Gardens.
FUN, FUN, FUN!
After an hour of roses and sunflowers and other flowers I did not even know about, we got bored, so we went back to the hotel. We had a lot of fun in the pool but we got a little wrinkled so we went back up to our room and watched T.V. until we fell asleep.

Dear journal,
Today we are going to the next location on our trip! But we are still going to stay in Akron a while longer. We got breakfast at the Quaker Inn so we were ready for the day! First, we drove down to the Union Park and walked around a bit. I though it was boring but mom said she needed the "exercise"! After a quick jog, we drove over to the William B. Umstead State Park. I liked the birds and ducks until they bombed the car windshield with bird poop and let me just say...
my dad and birds DON'T mix! Finally, we headed to Sandusky! I have been waiting to go there because we will be camping near Cedar Point!!! It will be soooooooooooooooooooooo fun! When we got to our campsite, we found out that it must have rained over here last night because there were puddles EVERYWHERE! After we got the tent up, we went to Cedar Point!!!

I came in my swimsuit and rode most of the water rides! Then I rode 7 roller coasters, The ride you see above, 2 bumper cars, ate a big hotdog for a late lunch, rode a fast and flippy roller coaster then threw up!
After that, we took a ferry to Kelly's island.

I liked The Kelly's Island Historical Museum . It showed a lot of pictures of the Glacier Grooves and I liked learning about the island's history. About an hour later, we drove to Perry's Cave. I loved how the rocks formed and all the puddles of cave water! It was dark in there when they turned off the lights to show us how dark the cave is in its natural darkness! After that, we went to Cameo Pizza And Family Restaurant. It was really good pizza and I loved the view from the window! Finally, we drove back to the campsite. I dove into my sleeping bag and fell asleep instantly.

Today we are heading to Toledo!

We checked into our hotel and headed to the Ohio Theater. We watched a play called The Wizard of Oz. It was a really cool play!
Then we went to eat lunch at The Toledo Mud Hens Stadium. We watched a baseball game and finished our hot dogs. YAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!The toledo mud hens won!!! After that, we were really hot so we went to Personal Touch Pools and Spas. It was really fun to go off the diving board and I loved the spa! 2 hours Later, we got hungry. No raisins though because all I have to do is paint myself purple and I will be a raisin! We went to the Robert B. Restaurant.

I got a hambuger with a large fries and a drink. Connor did not like the hotdog he got, "sigh" he is so picky! After a good dinner, we went back to our hotel, watched T.V., then fell asleep.

Dear journal,
Today we are going to Dayton!
It was a long drive to get there, but we still made it. When we first got there, we checked into our hotel, Double Tree Inn, and went down to the Wright-Patternson Airforce Museum.
wow!!!
All the World War Two warcraft, aircraft, submariens, ships, and tanks were really cool!!! You should have seen the size of that B-17! After that, we went to eat lunch at the Stavona Restruant. They had really good chicken and fries!
After a great lunch, we went to Bomberger Park. They had a really fun playground. OW!!! I fell off the slide!
I got a bandade and now we are driving to the Patterson Homestead. It was a really old building and it was a very historical site. They had a really cool garden to! Finally, we went back to the hotel. It was a long day!

Today, we are heading to the last location on our trip! It is Columbus!!! Our capital city!

It took an hour to get there but when we did, we went to Gahanna Historical Society. It showed a lot of historical items and pictures of them in the gift shop! After a history lesson I did not want, we went to the Gateway theater. We watched a play on James And The Giant Peach. It made us hungry so we went to Sushi By yu. It was good Chinese food and I liked the chicken pieces. Finally, after about a week, we headed back home!!!
